September 19th – The Town of Surfside Beach will host a Beach Sweep on Saturday, September 19th, at the Holiday Inn Surfside Beach. This event is in conjunction with the SC Sea Grant Consortium’s annual statewide Beach & River Sweep.
Participants will enjoy complimentary snacks and beverages, a DJ, giveaways, a 2-night stay at the Holiday Inn Surfside Beach, t-shirts, hats, gift certificates, and more!
All beach sweeps are family-friendly! Bags and gloves are provided. If you can, please bring a non-perishable donation for South Strand Helping Hand.
Please join the Keep Surfside Beach Beautiful Committee at 3rd Ave beach access from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. for the Beach Sweep. Bags and gloves are provided.
